"Talking to Hima Bindu was a truly eye opening experience. From her narrative of the condition of slums in my city to her first hand accounts of police corruption, everything she had to say opened new avenues of thought and debate. To me, hearing about her work served as both a stark reminder of the ever present problems in society and as an inspiration to contribute, in my own way, to finding solutions. I have no doubt that I will be far from the only one to be so deeply affected by her story."
